Post Office Click and Collect Explained
For added convenience, you can now have your Lovehoney order delivered to your nearest post office via the Royal Mail's click and collect service, also known as Local Collect.
When you check out, choose the Post Office delivery option and follow the instructions on screen.
What is Lovehoney's click and collect service?
This is provided by the Royal Mail and allows you to select a local Post Office branch as an alternative delivery address where you can collect your parcel. With 10,500 branches to choose from, you can be in control of where you collect from - whether that be near your home, work or somewhere else convenient to you.

How do I choose click and collect?
First select Post Office delivery at the checkout when placing an order, complete the form with your details, and then enter your postcode and click the 'Find your Post Office' button.
In which areas of the UK does Royal Mail offer the click and collect service?
The service is available to 10,500 Post Office across the UK. It can not be used for deliveries to the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
Why do I need to provide an email address or phone number?
If you provide these details, Royal Mail will be able to confirm when delivery has taken place to your selected Post Office branch, allowing you to choose the most convenient time for you to collect it.
How do I know the item has arrived at the Post Office?
You can check the progress of your item at www.royalmail.com and enter your parcel tracking number.
Please note that delivery times to your local post office will vary. We advise all customers to use the Royal Mail Track and Trace service to ensure orders have arrived prior to collection.
What are the opening hours of the Post Office?
Opening hours for collection of parcels is shown against each Post Office returned in the list for you to select from. Opening times may vary by location and time of the year such as early closing on Christmas Eve.
Is the Post Office open on bank holidays?
Opening times may vary by location and time of the year, for example some branches may not be open on a bank holiday or may close earlier than normal on Christmas Eve.
What identification is required to collect my parcel?
To collect your parcel, please take your parcel tracking number with you to the post office and identification in the name of the person the parcel is addressed to.
This can be:
Cheque guarantee/credit/debit card
Bank/building society book
Valid passport
Cheque book
Driving licence
Photo Identity Card (Foreign National, Military, Police Warrant, Royal Mail Employee)
Can someone collect the parcel on my behalf?
Yes. To collect the parcel, they must bring to the Post Office the parcel tracking number and identification in the name of the person the parcel is addressed to.
This can be:
Cheque guarantee/credit/debit card
Bank/building society book
Valid passport
Cheque book
Driving licence
Photo Identity Card (Foreign National, Military, Police Warrant, Royal Mail Employee)
If I use this service, will Royal Mail attempt delivery of my order to my home address first?
No. The Click and Collect service is used as an alternative delivery point by Royal Mail.
How long will my parcel be held at the Post Office?
The parcel will be held for 18 calendar days before being returned to Lovehoney.
Can I change the Post Office location after placing my order?
No. Once an order has been dispatched, it will be sent directly to the Post Office you selected.
Why is my local Post Office unavailable?
Occasionally a Post Office may not have capacity available to accept and hold your parcel. If this is the case, please select an alternative from the list of Post Offices provided to you.
Can I cancel the collection from the Post Office?
No. Once an order has been dispatched, it will be sent directly to the Post Office you selected. If you do not collect from the Post Office it will be returned to Lovehoney.
What happens if I have forgotten to collect my Parcel
The parcel will be held for 18 calendar days before being returned to Lovehoney.
Will I need to pay for the collection at the Post Office?
No. The Post Office will not charge you when you collect the parcel.
Can I collect the item when the Post Office is open but the delivery counter is closed?
Opening hours for collection of parcels is shown against each Post Office in the list for you to select from. In many cases, these are in addition to the Post Office counter opening times. Opening times may also vary by location and time of year such as early closing on Christmas Eve.
